FOOD VENDOR APPLICATION

Thank you for your interest in the Seventeenth Annual Cambridge Arts Festival which will take place on June 2, 2012.

Programming Guidelines

  • This application is for entrepreneurs looking to sell food or drink at the Festival.
  • Hours of Operation: June 2, 2012 from 10:00 am to 8:00pm

Conditions of Registration

  • All fees are non-refundable once the food vendor has been accepted by the committee.
  • The application deadline is April 15, 2012.
  • Vendor space is limited and will be assigned by the food vendor  and site coordinators
  • 1 Unit is a 10x 10 space with one electrical outlet. The cost is $200.00
  • Full payment along with the application is due April 15, 2012.
  • Each extra electrical outlet is $50.00
  • Set up is on Saturday June 2, 2012 between 8:00 and 10:00 am. You must be set up by 10:00 am.
  • Tent size cannot exceed 10 ft. by 10 ft.

Food Vendor Policy

  • Comply with the provisions of call Canadian and Provincial laws, City By-Laws and other applicable regulations and the requirement of the Fire Department and Health and Safety Officer
  • Sell/offer only the products and/or services specified and approved.
  • Operate with proper hygiene practices and good customer service principles
  • Conduct business only within the space allocated.
  • Clean up all debris from the site throughout the day as required and upon the conclusions of daily business.
  • Be responsible for setting up and cleaning up of all your own vending equipment, garbage containers, and debris from your site.
  • Vendors must obtain the necessary approvals from City, Fire, and Health officials prior to April 30, 2011. All paperwork (copies of approvals) must be submitted to the Cambridge Arts Festival by April 30, 2012. Please mail them to the address above or drop them off.
  • Set-up between 8:00 am and 10:00 am on June 2, 2021. You must be set up by 10:00 am which is the time the festival begins and not pack up until after 8:00 pm.
  • Be responsible for all of your own sales.
  • Must use a festival tent and be responsible to bring your own sandbags to weigh down the tent.

Applications will not be approved until all the conditions within the application have been met and the proper paperwork has been submitted and approved by the 2012 Cambridge Arts Festival Committee.

Vendor applications may not be accepted after the deadline. Only a limited number of vendors will be accepted due to space and similar type vendors may be limited. All fees are non-refundable once the food vendor has been accepted by the committee.

The Cambridge Arts Festival committee has the right to refuse vendor if deemed inappropriate or unsafe. Registration fees are non-refundable if the food vendor does not comply with the rules and regulations as stated on the day of the festival.
