Introducing the Cambridge Arts Festival Paddle Project, a silent auction that will take place during the festival on June 2, 2012.  Here’s how it works:

Artists receive an unfinished canoe paddle to paint, bend, cut, burn, carve, or chisel and create their own one-of-a-kind unique work of art. Each paddle will be on display inside City Hall where festival attendees can bid on one or more paddles in a silent auction. All proceeds will be used to support Cambridge Arts Festival 2013.
